Mindful Soothing

Mindfulness helps soothe the mind and make life more enjoyable. It’s both simple and effective.

In a nutshell, Mindfulness involves training yourself to stay in the present moment and some meditation practice. Being aware of the present moment rather than living in the past, going over old hurts, or living in the future, wondering ‘What if? What if?’ is both relaxing and refreshing.

In order to stay in the present moment Mindfulness uses the technique of observing your breathing. Being aware of your own breathing brings you immediately into the present moment and it’s always available to you!

With Mindfulness you will find a calm in daily life and the ability to become more aware of moment of joy.

Mindfulness has been shown to be as effective as medication for the prevention of relapse of depression (The Lancet, April 2015)
